what to expect when booking in with think.grow.connect?

When booking in with a clinic for the first time it can be daunting as you often do not know what to expect. The above video is designed to help put your mind at ease and hopefully answers any questions you may have.

what is a mental health plan, and do i need to get one when booking in with think.grow.connect?

At think.grow.connect it is not a requirement to have a mental health plan/referral to book in. With selected services you may be eligible for a medicare rebate - it is best to ask our reception team if this applies to your booking. If you are eligible for a mental health plan, our team is happy to provide information on how you can do this.

As we are not a bulk billing practice, there will be fees associated will all services provided.

think.grow.connect offers many different group therapies for children and adolescents to build on their social and emotional skills while in a safe environment. How is virtual reality used in a therapeutic setting?

There are many different tools and resources that can be used in a therapeutic setting. One of these tools is virtual reality, which we can offer at think.grow.connect.

Virtual reality can be used for a range of different concerns such as:

• Fear of confined spaces

• Fear of flying

• Mindfulness

what is milo robot therapy?

Milo is our clinic robot. Therapy with Milo uses an evidence-based curriculum designed to help children living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to navigate social situations, learn emotional cues and develop self-regulating behaviours.
